It’s been a while with distractions having taken time precedence because of the necessity of “getting down to business” but it’s time the pages with the search engine research papers and patents were put up, at least the beginnings for a start.
I’ve got an enormous collection on my hard drive and in bookmarks, but it’s a matter of re-categorizing them in the friendliest manner in order to be able to properly find them. Some may need listing in more than one category, for the sake of clarity, but at least some content began to be put up that section, which I’ve moved from /search/ to /search-engines/ to avoid confusion if I decide at one point to have a site search (unlikely, but not impossible). So the section page is now here:
Search Engines and Search Technology
The first are the beginnings for Latent Semantic Indexing and related topics, and Google Search Engine.

One Response to “Search Engine Research Papers Section Put Up”
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Search_Engines/Google/Research_Papers/ has a lot of papers that aren’t strictly about Google. The category needs an update of newer papers, but it’s a place you might not have seen.
