Typing in just the URL of sites of ads running in another browser window goes to the homepage of the advertisers, and some can be very lucrative for locating merchants who carry specific lines and types of merchandise.
I just ran across one that’s got all kinds of merchandise conveniently categorized in directory fashion, with top level and sub-categories - all affiliate links - and found a ton of merchants I’m already signed up for, and some I need to sign up for now that I know, who carry specific products that I’m doing up pages for this week. I didn’t even know that many of those merchants had that particular merchandise.
I do filter out junk sites, but this one, and others like it, stays for sure. It’s not only a perfectly fine shopping resource for visitors, from my POV it’s a very good resource for research, for locating targeted and niche merchants.
